The objective of the Aquariuss of the Marine Margarita Museum is to accomplish an educational labor and to divulge of the various systems echo marine that exist in Venezuela and of the organizations more representative than inhabit them. It is intended to familiarize to the visitor with the assorted autochthonous marine fauna, through a very complete sample.

In this first stage of the Aquariuss, are exhibited 11 spaces distributed about a contact pool; each one represents a systems echo marine of the country.

The Marine Margarita Museum is a dependency of the Museum Foundation of the Sea, non-profit private association guided toward the education, investigation and conservation. Has as objective to offer to all the public visitor a complete vision of the seas of Venezuela, from their physical characteristics - chemistries and the fauna that inhabits them , until the aspects related to the interaction of the man and the sea, as the ships construction and the fishing activities.

Special attention is lent to the areas that surround the Margarita islands, Coche and Cubagua (state Nueva Esparta), by presenting some special characteristics of high productivity, different of the of the rest of the Caribbean sea.
